What inspired you to become a hairstylist?

I got a job as a Saturday girl at 14, while I was in school, and just fell in love with the industry. I loved watching the transformations and seeing how happy the clients were and I knew from then that this was my passion.

What trends or techniques are you most excited about in the world of hairstyling right now?

I love blonding and balayage - I could happily do it all day! I love the results I am able to achieve and taking people on a journey with their hair. I also love getting creative with short hair cuts too!

In your opinion, what is the key to building a strong, trusting relationship with clients?

I always have a friendly greeting waiting for my clients and I love a good chat! I always start with a detailed consultation so both of us know exactly what we want to achieve by the end of the appointment. That way there are never any surprises for either of us!

What excites you most about being part of our creative team?

The girls are all lovely and I’m excited to be using O&M colours as I’ve seen the amazing results they give. I knew a few Head Office clients before I joined the team, who all said what a lovely place it is and the girls here are amazing at what they do. I always try to surround myself with people who inspire me to keep learning and pushing myself so it feels like the perfect fit!

How do you like to spend your time when you’re not in the salon?

I’ve got a 2-year old daughter so she takes up most of my time! We love going to the zoo and spending time outdoors so I’m looking forward to more sunny days! I like a night out with friends but we’ve all got children so it’s not always easy to get out!
