Most blonding appointments at Head Office take between two and three hours but the honest answer is: it depends on your hair.

The length of your service is shaped by your starting point (how dark your hair is, how previously coloured it is), the result you want, and the condition your hair is in on the day.

This is exactly why we carry out a consultation before every new client appointment. Your stylist will be able to tell you, upfront, how long your service is likely to take so you can plan your day around it, not the other way around.

What we will never do is rush your blonde to fit a tighter slot. The time your hair needs is the time it gets.

Our lower-impact services, like Lived In Blonde and Balayage, work with your natural base and are designed to deliver beautiful results with minimal processing. For most clients, these carry very low risk to hair health when carried out by an expert and maintained properly.

High Impact Blonde (our bold, all-over transformation service) is a different conversation. It is more intensive, it requires more from your hair, and we will tell you that clearly before we agree to carry it out. If your hair is not in the right condition to handle that level of work safely, we will not do it. We will instead create a plan to get your hair to where it needs to be first.

Every blonding service at Head Office includes a full assessment of your hair's condition. We have professional-grade, bond-protecting treatments available to protect the integrity of your hair and every client leaves with a personalised aftercare plan to maintain the result at home.

We would rather give you the honest version of what is possible than overpromise and leave you with damaged hair. That is not the kind of salon we are.

Our blonding services start from £126, which includes your toner and blowdry, so the result you see in the mirror when you leave is the complete, finished look.

The final price for your appointment is confirmed at your consultation, before any service is carried out. You will always know exactly what you are paying before we begin so there are no surprises at the till.

Pricing varies depending on the service, your hair length/thickness, and the amount of work involved. This is not a way of keeping numbers vague; it is simply because two clients sitting side by side asking for the same result can have very different hair, and we price based on what your hair actually needs.

That depends on the service you choose which is one of the reasons we match each client to the right blonde for their lifestyle, not just the look they want.

Here is a rough guide:

• Lived In Blonde - our lowest-maintenance option. Because the colour is blended softly from the root with no harsh regrowth line, most clients return every 10 to 14 weeks. Some stretch longer.
• Classic Blonde - typically every 6 to 10 weeks, depending on how much brightness you want to maintain around the face and how quickly your hair grows.
• High Impact Blonde - the most maintenance-intensive service. Root re-growth is more visible with a bolder, all-over blonde, so most clients book in every 6 to 8 weeks to keep the look sharp.
• Balayage Blonde - like Lived In Blonde, balayage is designed to grow out beautifully. Most clients return every 12 to 16 weeks for a refresh.

In between full colour appointments, we recommend a toner and blowdry at around the four to six week mark, particularly for our lighter blondes. This keeps your colour fresh, removes any unwanted warmth that has developed, and means your hair always looks like you just left the salon, even when you haven't.

Your stylist will give you a personalised maintenance recommendation at your consultation and at every appointment. We will never push you to book more often than your hair needs but we will always tell you when it does.
